Chris Bischoff

Managing director

Chris is an Sustainability Communications Specialist with a B.Tech in Environmental Management. Over the past nine years he has worked across both the public and private sector and with a number of nonprofit organisations in a stakeholder engagement and communications role.  A lot of his work has been focused on the waste management, renewable energy, biodiversity, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental law sectors. He has a comprehensive understanding of environmental and social development landscape in South Africa, and how to use various communication and marketing tool to increase awareness, open up funding opportunities and build a brand.

Chris is also an experienced digital communications professional, having a depth of knowledge in traditional media strategies, design thinking, business development growth strategies which are applicable to many marketing and communication platforms.

He also has a deep passion for conservation, social development and empowering vulnerable groups through communication.

Ntombovuyo Linda

Communication specialist

With nearly a decade of experience in social impact, policy analysis, and strategic advocacy, Ntombovuyo Linda is a dynamic communications innovator at the intersection of creativity and social change.

Her academic foundation in political science has profoundly influenced her approach to communication – viewing it as a tool not just for messaging but as a catalyst for collective action.

She has successfully led communication campaigns, developed successful grant proposals, and shaped institutional messaging to drive meaningful engagement across multiple sectors.

At SUSCO, Ntombovuyo Linda is a passionate and skilled Communications Manager, where she manages multiple projects requiring precision, imagination, and integrity.

Her strength lies in making technical information accessible without flattening its significance, while driving narratives that reflect real-world experiences, power dynamics, and future possibilities.

Her approach brings clarity to complexity and meaning to metrics, ensuring communication is not only informative but transformative. She is particularly invested in shaping public discourse in a way that affirms the dignity of people and accountability of institutions, leaders, and systems that serve the public good.

Her research, writing, and visual communication work reflect a commitment to thoughtfulness, justice, and use of language and visual literacy as instruments for social and environmental sustainability.

Chloe is a strategic communications specialist with over a decade of experience crafting impactful narratives across sectors including financial services, education, retail, and social development. Her work blends data-driven storytelling with a deep commitment to social and environmental justice—making her a natural fit for SUSCO’s mission.

From leading communications at Capita South Africa to driving digital engagement strategies at Cape Union Mart, Chloe has consistently delivered campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and spark meaningful change. She has collaborated with brands like Operation Smile and Clickatell to amplify voices around health equity, digital inclusion, and youth empowerment.

A passionate advocate for sustainability, Chloe brings creativity, empathy, and sharp strategic thinking to every project. She is deeply committed to ethical communication—ensuring that every message uplifts, informs, and inspires communities to act more sustainably.

Beyond the boardroom, Chloe champions inclusion in wellness and outdoor spaces. As a certified yoga teacher, running coach, climbing instructor, and outdoor enthusiast, she believes in the power of movement—both physical and social—to transform lives. She helps make nature, movement, and community accessible to all, regardless of background.
